Drawing of hospital

The building began as a private residence, built sometime in the 30's (?).  It was  converted into an art studio in the 70's.  Later in the 70s it became a veterinary clinic, owned and operated by Dr. Amy Williams (Rentz).  She sold the practice in 1983 to Dr. Paul Eville.  In 1989, Dr. Larry was hired.  In 1991, Dr. Larry and his wife Shari bought the practice from Dr. Eville.  After purchasing the practice, they decided they needed a new logo for the clinic stationary.  They hired a local artist that had impressed them with her pencil drawings of dogs, Sue Williams.  After she presented her first sketch, Dr. Larry said it was perfect, exactly what they wanted.  She brought some old photographs of the building and she said she had combined the old and the new.  Only then did we realize, she had been the previous owner that had converted the building to an art gallery!

In 1999, the building was added on to enlarge our growing practice.  In 2002, Dr. Beth joined us here to complete our team.  In March of 2013, Dr. Beth became half owner of the practice. In 2014, we added a larger reception area, a concrete ramp and a third examination room.

We would like to thank Gadsden and surrounding communities for our growth and hope to continue to provide you and your beloved pets service and care in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
